Press Release TMS automates Amtrak at Ivy City, DC Toronto, August 12, 2008 – TMS just finished working with Savage Associates, Inc., in conjunction with Larson and Company and TPC in installing refueling automation systems for Amtrak at their Ivy City facility in Washington, DC. The Ivy City location is in close proximity to Union Station, home to the Headquarters for Amtrak and is a major refueling point for Amtrak’s high speed Acela Express, Northeast Regional, and Silver Star lines. The refueling automation system is used to track the refueling of the locomotives and diesel inventory levels. Quarles Petroleum Inc. utilizes the TMS6000interface to the Toptech TDS Toronto, February 7, 2008 – Quarles Petroleum, Inc. utilizes the TMS6000 interface to the Toptech TDS system to secure new business. Quarles Petroleum, Inc. has been operating since 1939 providing energy products throughout the Virginia and Maryland area. Donna Cornwell was recently asked about the need to integrate the TMS6000 Automation package with the Toptech TDS system Donna Cornwell responded, “Quarles Petroleum has just completed a major renovation project at our Fredericksburg, Virginia terminal. Part of this renovation project was designed to attract terminal exchange partners. TMS integration to TopTech TDS allowed us to accommodate Shell Products US as our new terminal exchange partner. If we had not been able to offer this integration we most likely would not have been able to strike an agreement.” (Download) Donna Cornwell TMS6000 interfaces with the Toptech TDS system Toronto, January 20, 2008– Total Meter Services, Inc. announces the completion of its integration to the TopTech TDS (Toptech Data Services) system. The TDS is a service provided by TopTech that allows users to gather and use transaction data from remote terminals. Total Meter Services TMS6000 operates at the physical plant controlling and automating bulk plant operations such as driver verification, transaction capture and BOL (Bill of Lading) printing. The TMS6000 then outputs the transaction data in the compatible data file recognized by TDS. The transaction data is sent immediately to TDS servers located at Toptech's facility. Each TDS customer's data is immediately available via the Internet by accessing the TDS website Toptech Systems, Inc., part of the Liquid Controls Group, a unit of IDEX Corporation and can be contacted directly for more information about the TDS system. (Download) TMS6000 exports to Quickbooks Suite of Accounting Software Toronto, December 12, 2007 – The TMS team has finished product interface to the Quickbooks Accounting package. The development work by the TMS team now allows communication between the TMS6000 software suite and the Quickbooks accounting software package. At the end of the development process, the TMS6000 software system was sending files directly into Quickbooks. Invoices were being created by Quickbooks with the gallons, price, service charges & taxes with data coming from the TMS6000 system. (Download)
